General Information
 The
Hotel is located just a short drive from the artistic center of Ubud,
a quiet mountain village where artists and painters, writers and musicians
find their inspiration. A further 15 km to the North lies Kintamani and
the impressive volcanic lake of Batur. 15 minutes north of Ubud, 45 km/30
miles from airport.
Alila Ubud is a secluded mountain retreat perched high up on the edge
of a verdant valley in the traditional Balinese village of Payangan. Surrounded
by the gentle, spiritual rhythms of Balinese life, it affords breathtaking
panoramas across brilliant green rice-terraces and steep palm-covered
slopes. Beneath the tranquil property runs the Ayung River, Bali's most
sacred mountain waterway.
The lower floor rooms feature individual garden terraces and a back courtyard
with an open-air bathroom and shower. The upper floor rooms feature a
private balcony and unobstructed views.
There are four superb Ayung River Villas and three Garden Villas. The
Ayung River Villas offer a spacious walk-around deck and are perched over
the valley affording spectacular views of the Ayung River. The Garden
Villas provide a private tropical garden and an outside bath surrounded
lotus pond.

The 54 Deluxe Rooms are housed in eight two-storey blocks designed to
resemble a Balinese village. All rooms have panoramic views of the surrounding
valley and mountain range. The ground floor rooms feature individual garden
terraces and a back courtyard with an open-air bathroom and shower. The
first floor rooms feature a private balcony and unobstructed views.
There are four superb Balinese valley suites offering a spacious walk-around
deck. They are perched out over the valley affording spectacular views
of the Ayung River valley below.
