An Impressive East Java excursion to visit Ijen beauties and its surrounding unique local life.

Day 1: Bali - Banyuwangi (L, D)
Departure from your hotel in the morning and driver and drive to Banyuwangi, with pass the beautiful western part of Bali. Arrive at Gilimanuk Harbor cross to Ketapang by Ferry. Lunch will be served at local restaurant. Proceed to experience short trip to the local market, Chinese Temple and Batik factory. Afternoon drive to Hotel, check in and overnight

Day 2: Banyuwangi - Ijen - Bali (B, L)
After early morning breakfast at the hotel you will be driver by four well drives vehicle to the slope of Mount Ijen passing through Licin village for a plantation and tropical rainforest. This is one the few dense forest left on the island of Java with giant fern and big trees. Pause at the Park Range's post, before hiking further up the slopes of the crate. About one hour and a half is needed to ascend the rim of the crater along a shady track with amazing views. Take a rest on the edge of the crater 2883 m altitude. The sulfuric lake reflects eerie colors over the surrounding walls to give an apocalypse like impression. The view is stunning. Men seeking sulfur descend into the crater and climb back up along the dangerous rim with loads of up to 80 kilos on the shoulders. The crater observation will take place at leasure. Afterwards drive back down to Banyuwangi. Lunch will be provided in a restaurant, then cross by ferry to gilimanuk and proceed driving to Bali. Arrive at your hotel in the evening.
