Bali Bird Park
The Bird Park of Bali is simply superb and is an ideal place to learn about these beautiful creatures closely. The Bali Bird Park is spread over two hectares of area in the botanical garden. The park provides shelter to almost 1000 birds of 250 different species.
The Bali bird Park is the largest collection of Indonesian Birds in Indonesia and also comprises of birds from other areas of the world all of which are tropical and a beautiful sigh to behold. Watch various activities of Javan Hawk and Serpent Eagles and listen to the sweet sounds of other birds in this park. The Bali Bird Park is also the breeding place of Cassowaries, Cranes, Storks and Pelicans. Beside different kind of birds, rare Komodo Dragons also inhabit this park.
The prices of Admission are very reasonable for the days viewing of the park and there is a family package ticket available that makes this experience even more worth while although remember that the money you pay goes to the wages of those who are helping to conserve Bali’s indigenous birds as well as towards The Bali bird Park's project itself. Infants enter free of charge there I no prior booking necessary just turn up at your own convenience. There are many facilities including first aid, a gift and souvenirs shop, full disabled access to all areas and a large parking area with a security guard on the front door. There are also refreshments and a restroom although be informed that any pets are not allowed to enter The Bali bird Park.

Bali’s Rimba Reptile Park is located adjacent to the Bali Bird Park, and has the most complete collection of reptiles in Southeast Asia. At a length of 8 meters, their reticulated python is easily the largest snake in captivity. There is also an extensive collection of Indonesian monitor lizards in addition to the world renown Komodo dragons. Also there is an open-air area where guests are encouraged to interact with the tame iguanas, crocodile monitors, water monitors, and tortoises.
